SlickMerge empowers independent developers, agency teams, and enterprise managers to securely manage repositories, scale team collaboration, and automate PRs—without losing code control.
Our Origin Story
As active developers across myriad client repositories, we experienced a repeating pattern of friction: inviting external contributors safely on GitHub is annoyingly rigid. It often involves excessive permission boundaries or messy shared access tokens.
SlickSpender built SlickMerge to solve our own problem. We needed to rapidly give a group of developers limited scope access to perform quick PR reviews and merges without exposing our root Personal Access Tokens.
Today, SlickMerge operates as a robust proxy that encrypts your tokens server-side securely while exposing a snappy, team-specific dashboard for reviewing PRs, exploring issues, and analyzing repository velocity.
What makes SlickMerge different?
- Proxy token architecture ensuring key safety
- Dynamic dashboard scopes rather than static orgs
- Built entirely prioritizing performance + UX
Our Core Values
Principles driving every commit.
Eliminate Friction
Development workflows shouldn't require reading 10-page permission manuals. We make collaboration intuitive.
Security by Default
We don't believe in exposing tokens to client interfaces. All automation passes through zero-trust encrypted environments.
Optimized Velocity
Fast fetches, optimistic UI updates, and cached GitHub data to mimic a native app experience on the web.
